Partner Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 7 September 2026
We at Zulish Nail ("Company", "We", "Us", or "Our") value your privacy and are dedicated to treating your personal information with care and respect. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, process, and protect your data when you register and use the Zulish Nail Partner Application ("Partner App").
This policy applies strictly to independent beauty professionals, technicians, and service providers ("Partners" or "Artists") using the Zulish Nail Partner platform.
1. Eligibility (Minimum Age Requirement)
The Zulish Nail Partner App is intended strictly for independent adult contractors. You must be 18 years of age or older to register and use this application. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from minors.
2. Information We Collect
- Personal Information: Name, gender, residential/delivery address, phone number, profile photo, and contact details provided during registration.
- KYC and Financial Information: For independent contractors registering on our platform, we collect mandatory KYC details (including government-issued identity documents such as PAN card or Aadhaar) and bank account or UPI details. This sensitive information is strictly collected for ID and document verification, identity validation, tax compliance, and processing service payouts.
- Location Data & Emergency Safety Tracking (Crucial for Service Operations):
- Duty On / Online Tracking: To efficiently assign nearby bookings, map geographic demand, calculate accurate Estimated Times of Arrival (ETA), and provide live tracking to customers, the app collects your precise or approximate GPS location in the background—even when the app is closed or not in use.
- Duty Off / Tracking Control: Background location tracking is active only when you set your status to "Online" or "Duty On", or when you are actively en route to a booking. Once you toggle your status to "Offline" or "Duty Off", background location tracking completely stops.
- In-Service Emergency Tracking & SOS Alerts: During active booking runtimes, in the event of an emergency or safety concern, your device may transmit real-time GPS coordinates and emergency SOS alerts to our servers and safety response teams to ensure your physical safety and well-being.
- Device Permissions:
- Camera & Photo Gallery: With your explicit permission, we access your camera and storage to allow you to upload your profile picture, submit mandatory KYC documents, and attach photos to a support ticket.
- Push Notifications: To send you real-time alerts for new booking requests, payout confirmations, and operational updates.
- Usage, Analytics & Crash Logs: We collect information about how you navigate our app, IP addresses, request timestamps, and app crash reports. This helps us keep the app stable and improve performance.
- Call & Support Recordings: If you communicate with our partner support team via phone calls or messages, we may record these interactions for quality assurance, safety, dispute resolution, and training purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To verify your identity, review your submitted ID and documents, and ensure platform safety.
- To facilitate your bookings and connect you with nearby customers in your geographic area.
- To process payments, calculate your earnings, manage service fees, and disburse payouts.
- To analyze geographic demand and app search trends to continuously improve our platform's user interface and service offerings.
- To communicate with you regarding booking schedules, platform updates, security alerts, and partner-specific promotional offers.
- To prevent fraudulent activities, ensure system integrity, and comply with legal requirements.
4. Third-Party Sharing, Technical Infrastructure & Transfers
Your information is kept secure and is never sold to third parties. We only share necessary data with trusted third-party service providers to enable seamless app operations:
- Customers: Your first name, profile photo, service ratings, phone number, and live location (strictly while en route to a confirmed booking). The customer can call you on this number for the duration of the booking.
- Technical Infrastructure & Service Providers: We share only what a given service needs, with: DigitalOcean (cloud hosting, database and file storage); Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging for push, Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics, and Maps, Places and Geocoding, which receive your location and typed addresses); Razorpay (customer payment processing — your bank and UPI details are never sent to Razorpay; payouts are made by our own team by bank transfer); and MSG91 (OTP and transactional SMS). Identity documents you upload are reviewed by our own admin team — we do not use an external background-verification agency.
- Cross-Border / International Data Transfers: Our application servers and our primary database are hosted in Bangalore, India. Your KYC identity documents are stored on our application servers in Bangalore, India. Profile images and invoice PDFs are held in cloud object storage located in Singapore. Because our cloud infrastructure, server hosting, and third-party API providers operate on global cloud networks, your personal data may also be securely transferred to, stored, and processed on servers located outside your state or country of residence. All such transfers are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection laws using secure encryption protocols.
- Business Transitions & Corporate Mergers: In the event that Zulish Nail undergoes a business transition—such as a merger, acquisition by another entity, corporate reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets—your personal data may be transferred as part of the legal business assets to the acquiring or successor entity.
- Legal Requirements & Exceptions: If required by court orders, law enforcement, or applicable laws, we may disclose your information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect platform safety. Such disclosures may take place without prior notice where legally permitted.
5. Data Security & Disclaimer
- Data Security: We implement strict administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
- Liability Disclaimer: While we take all reasonable technical precautions, no system is entirely immune to cyber threats. We are not liable for unauthorized disclosures caused by malicious third parties (such as hackers) operating outside our direct control.
6. Account Deletion & Data Retention
- Deletion Request: You have the right to request the deletion of your Partner account and personal data at any time through the App's profile section or by emailing [email protected]. Deletion requested from inside the app is immediate and cannot be undone. Requests sent by email are completed within 7 working days of us verifying your identity.
- Statutory Retention Exceptions: Upon account deletion, please note that certain data—including KYC verification records, payout logs, tax history, and transactional data—will be retained for up to 7 years (or as mandated by applicable Indian tax laws, audit standards, and statutory obligations).
7. Your Statutory Rights (Data Principal Rights)
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework, you have the following explicit legal rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: Request a summary of your personal data being processed by the platform and details of third parties with whom it has been shared.
- Right to Correction & Erasure: Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data, or the deletion of data that is no longer necessary for operational or legal purposes.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent for optional processing activities at any time (note that withdrawing essential permissions may limit or terminate your ability to accept bookings).
- Right to Grievance Redressal: Register grievances or seek resolution regarding the processing of your data directly through our designated Grievance Officer.
8. Anti-Fraud & System Integrity
Any attempt to manipulate GPS locations, misuse third-party tools, exploit system vulnerabilities, or engage in fraudulent activities (such as fake bookings) is a severe breach of contract. We reserve the right to suspend your account immediately, cooperate with law enforcement authorities, and pursue strict legal action.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, technological, or legal changes. Material updates will be notified in the app or via email/SMS before taking effect. Your continued use of the Partner App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
